SOFA INTERVIEW

This video features a filmed radio interview with Fanny Vella, author of the graphic novel Le Seuil. The interview was recorded (fictionally) at Radio Campus during the Comédie du Livre festival, a major literary event held in Montpellier at the end of spring.

The video highlights four key links in the book production and distribution chain: the author herself (Camille Gras-Lambert), the publisher (Le Courrier du Livre Graphique, Nina van den Bogert), a bookseller from Gibert Joseph specializing in graphic novels (Coralie Bibé), and the journalist hosting the interview (Léa Martin). Together, they explore how these different roles coordinate to bring a creative work from conception to the audience. Le Courrier du Livre Graphique is a publishing house dedicated to showcasing the artistry and creativity of graphic novels. It focuses on bringing visually compelling and thought-provoking works to readers, offering a platform for both emerging and established authors in the graphic novel genre. With a commitment to quality storytelling and innovative designs, Le Courrier du Livre Graphique aims to enrich the literary landscape while highlighting the unique narrative power of visual art.

Edited with CapCut, the video utilizes multiple camera angles to emulate the style of televised interviews, offering a dynamic and professional viewing experience. This video was created as part of the English course for the Master's Programme in Book and Publishing Trades. Our roles in the video are therefore fictional.
